Lactation Services
Prenatal Care & Education
Learning about lactation before baby arrives is the ideal time to establish strategies and optimize success.
Even if you've taken a breastfeeding class, this is an opportunity to get personalized advice based on your specific medical history and feeding preferences.
Postpartum Care
An initial postpartum visit is essential for perfecting technique and solidifying your family's feeding and infant care knowledge. We'll develop a feeding plan, check baby's growth, conduct an oral assessment, review milk supply expectations, and discuss pumping and bottle strategies, if desired.
Follow Up Care
Follow up care is a critical piece of your lactation journey. In a follow up session, we may be tracking specific hurdles, or managing new steps along the feeding path like planning for the return to work/daycare, introducing bottles or solids, sleeping through the night, or weaning.
